A combat knife (also commonly called a fighting knife or tactical knife) is a knife designed for military use, specifically for close combat. Although since the end of trench warfare, most military knives have been primarily designed for utility/tool use (clearing foliage, chopping branches for cover, opening ammunition crates, etc)

An EMS or Rescue knife is a knife that includes certain emergency specific blades such as seat-belt cutters, glass breakers, traditional cutting edge and glass saw blades.

We will sharpen your tactical or EMS knife with one of the following edge types based upon your usage, blade type and shape. Most often the convex and multi-bevel edges are the most durable and tend to be favorites for most. Flat and Concave/HollowGround tend to feel sharper but the edges will not stand up to allot of tough use.
